Discussion A: International Business in Africa

Welcome to the discussion. In this course you will be introduced to a topic in the discussion. The first week of the module you will write about your initial thoughts after reviewing the resources. The initial post should be at least 300 words.

During the following week you will reply to at least two of your classmates. The replies should be at least 100 words. See the discussion rubric for more details on grading.

• Today, international business people must think globally about production and sales opportunities. Many global managers will eventually find themselves living and working in other cultures and entrepreneurs may find themselves taking flights to places they had never heard of. What can companies do now to prepare their managers for international markets? How can you prepare to lead a company in an African country? What are your concerns about leading a business in an African country?
