Special Populations

Chapter 10 discusses overcoming typical challenges during a disaster. One of the challenges is dealing with a special population. These are groups or individuals who may be vulnerable during a disaster.

Initial Post
During the current Pandemic some people are predicting an increase with domestic violence incidents due to the stay at home mandate. What recommendations would you give as a emergency manager? What, if anything, can be done to prevent an increase? Please provide examples to support your recommendations.
